Academy Registration  

Our Performing Arts Academy is a training program to enrich the development and skills of our students in the performing arts.  Our program offers a variety of classes that fit the needs of students who either want to just have fun and explore the world of theatre OR to train and build techniques to become a dedicated performer.


EACH CLASS IS HELD ONCE A WEEK FOR THREE WEEKS PER MONTH IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO KEEP UP ON ACADEMIC STUDIES.


We have three ways to participate in the monthly tuition programs:


RECREATIONAL STARS PROGRAM- Students take 2 classes per month, 6 month commitment, $50 registration fee every six months. Students participate in productions at no cost. $30 for any additional class.  $60 per month.


RISING STARS PROGRAM- Students take 3 classes per month, annual commitment, $100 annual registration fee. Students also have access to a monthly Audition Workshop at no cost. Students participate in productions at no cost. Students also have access to Broadway Masterclass for additional $35 and any other additional class for $30.  Additional materials fee of $75 for t-shirt, bag, binder will be required during the Fall season. $99 per month.


SHINING STARS PROGRAM- This is an audition only program.  Students will need to provide a video submission audition with a 32 bar song and 1 minute monologue. Students take 4 classes per month, annual commitment, $100 annual registration fee (can be broken into 4 payments if registration takes place during the month of August). Students also have access to a monthly Audition Workshop no cost  and Broadway Masterclass for $25. Students participate in productions at no cost. $25 for any additional class.  Additional materials fee of $75 for t-shirt, bag, binder will be required during the Fall season. 

$160 per month $200 Unlimited Class Pass (excluding Broadway Masterclass)


MONTHLY TUITION MUST BE PAID MONTHLY WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT TAKES CLASSES

Billed monthly or annually. No classes/workshops in August. 

$10 LATE FEE FOR REGISTRATION AFTER the 5th of the MONTH


HOW TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES
We will be switching to automatic billing in October through a new software system.  Our Academy Program Coordinator will host online Zoom registration times and/or reach out via email to confirm your monthly selections.

  • Renewed Every 6 months for Recreational Stars Program

  • For Rising Stars and Shining Stars Programs. Paid in Full.

  • For Rising Stars and Shining Stars Programs. Broken into 4 monthly payments.

  • Monthly Fee $60 for 2 classes. 6 Month Commitment

  • Monthly Fee $99 for 3 classes. Annual Commitment

  • Monthly Fee $160 for 4 classes. Annual Commitment

AUDITION POLICY FOR SHINING STARS PROGRAM

This is an audition only program.  Students will need to provide a video submission audition with a 32 bar song and 1 minute monologue. Based on submissions students will be separated into groups based on level.  There will most likely be a Level 1 and Level 2 group. Student's classes will be based on level designated in Shining Stars.

I understand that in order to participate in this class I will need to provide a computer or phone with camera access. I will also need to download ZOOM. I will be sent an invite code to join a class. I understand that Starbound Theatre will not be held liable for any connection issues on my end of connection.

I understand that most classes will be offered online. Some classes will be offered in person AND online. There is very limited spots for in-person classes for the time being.

I understand the times listed for classes are Pacific Standard Time.

I, declare that I am the participant, and/or the parent or legal guardian of participant (hereinafter referred to as “Participant(s)”) I, the undersigned, do hereby agree to participate and/or allow Participant(s) to participate in the program listed above. I am aware that participation in the program involves an element of risk and danger of accidents. I am participating and/or allowing Participant(s) to participate in this activity with knowledge of the danger involved. I accept and assume all risks of injury, death, and property damage. I agree to release, waive, discharge and convenant not to sue Starbound Theatre, Creative ArtReach, Youth Theatre Summit, David Rodgers Productions, its officers, agents, volunteers or employees, and any associated agents, staff and volunteers from all actions, claims, demands or liability for any bodily injury, death or property damage arising out of or in any way connected with my and/or Participant(s) participation in this activity

I also grant full permission to Starbound Theatre, Creative ArtReach, Youth Theatre Summit, David Rodgers Productions to use my and/or Participant(s) name and/or photograph, videotape, motion picture or recording for any publicity or promotion purposes without obligation, compensation or liability.


BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, I AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS DOCUMENT. I UNDERSTAND I AM VOLUNTARILY GIVING UP LEGAL RIGHTS AND THAT THIS IS A LEGAL, BINDING AND ENFORCEABLE CONTRACT. I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ONCE PROGRAM STARTS.
