Parents are required to complete 5 hours of volunteer time during the course of this production. We will text/email you the link to Sign Up where you will able to sign up for volunteer jobs online. Jobs range from working concessions during shows, helping paint sets, costume sewing, etc.

You will need to provide a postdated check for $75 or a credit authorization form. For families with more than one student the fee is $120.00 for 8 volunteer hours.

If you do not fulfill your volunteer requirements, we will process your check a week before performances.

PARENTS MUST SIGN UP FOR VOLUNTEERING ON VOLUNTEER SPOT. YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR THE JOB YOU SELECTED ON SIGN UP IN ORDER TO GET CREDIT. You will not receive credit for any volunteer work not signed up for online.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SIGNING IN AND OUT THE DAY YOU VOLUNTEER WITH STARBOUND STAFF. If you are not signed in, you will not receive credit.

NOTE: No children are allowed during volunteer hours unless prior arrangements are made with Starbound Staff.

Families with more than one student must complete 8 hours. 8 hours is the max for families with more than one student in the program. Volunteer Deposit is $120.

Participation in Fundraisers are OPTIONAL. The cost of producing theatre is expensive. We supplement the fees each production by holding a fundraiser. We’re asking each family to participate in the fundraiser and help the production become the best experience possible for our students. Families that participate fully in the fundraiser get half their volunteer hours waived and other special discounts/prizes.

When Families participate in the fundraiser, the following rewards are given depending on level and some rewards are EXCLUSIVE to those who participated.

Fundraiser Options for this production include Trip Tip Dinner Plate Pick Up tickets, Murder Mystery Dinner Tickets and paint party tickets.

I have read the following and understand my responsibilities

1. ITEMS TO TURN IN ON THE FIRST DAY- Student Info Contact Card and Deposit of $75 (Check or Credit Card Authorization Form) are also due the FIRST DAY!

2. Students should bring a snacks & bottled water to every rehearsal.

3. CELL PHONES- Students must check in cell phones on arrival. Students may not film any other student and post any pics/videos from rehearsal on social media. Students are welcome to take pictures/videos once in their parent's care. No use of cell phones is allowed backstage by students AND parents. Students will pick up cell phones before dismissal.

4. NO GUM, SODA, FLIP FLOPS/SANDALS,

5. Students need to bring 3 ring binder and pencil daily. Students will not be able to take scripts home until binder is brought in.

6. Parents are responsible for adding themselves to the Telegram App. (Instructions Above)

I understand that any fees paid are non-refundable after the first rehearsal. Prior to the first rehearsal, a withdraw form must be completed and emailed to the office PRIOR to the first day if requesting a partial refund. (Refund would be 1/2 of the registration fee minus a 10% admin fee,) Once registration is confirmed, my place is held and fees cannot be refunded unless I purchase the protection offered below.

In order to get a FULL refund, you must purchase the Protection below. I understand that Starbound Theatre is not affiliated with the Purchase Protection plan and I will have to work with Regfox on any claim.
